This page explains how to request deletion of your Billing Babu account
(on the website, the iPhone app and the Android app in.billbabu.app) and the personal data
associated with it, including a WhatsApp Business account you connected for WhatsApp Offers.
अपना Billing Babu अकाउंट और डेटा डिलीट करने के लिए, नीचे दिए ईमेल पते पर अपने
रजिस्टर्ड फ़ोन/ईमेल से “Delete my account” विषय के साथ अनुरोध भेजें, या ऐप में Profile → Delete account
से खुद डिलीट करें। हम 30 दिनों के अंदर

Use the subject line “Delete my account”.
Or delete it yourself in Billing Babu: Profile → Delete account.
Include your registered business name and phone number so we can verify ownership.
We verify the request and complete deletion within 30 days. You'll receive a
confirmation once it's done.
Disconnect your WhatsApp Business account (WhatsApp Offers)
If you connected your own WhatsApp Business account to Billing Babu for WhatsApp Offers, you can remove
Billing Babu's access at any time, without deleting your Billing Babu account:
On the Billing Babu website, open Marketing and press Disconnect on your
WhatsApp number (shop owner only). We unsubscribe our app from your WhatsApp Business account (unless
another of your businesses on Billing Babu still uses the same account) and permanently delete the access
token and PIN we stored for it.
Or remove Billing Babu from your WhatsApp Business account inside Meta. Meta informs us, and we delete
the stored token and PIN.
Your WhatsApp Business account stays yours with Meta. If the number was registered through Billing Babu,
disconnecting also releases it from the WhatsApp Cloud API so you can use it elsewhere.
When a deleted Billing Babu account is purged, 30 days after it is deleted, the token and PIN are deleted
too; to remove Billing Babu's access at Meta straight away, disconnect first.

What data is deleted
Your account and login identifiers (phone number, email)
Your business profile, logo, signature, address and UPI details
Your customers, invoices, sales, purchases and inventory records stored for your account
Your WhatsApp Offers data: the connected WhatsApp Business account details, its stored access token and
PIN, and your customers' phone numbers, offer-consent records, campaign recipients and send records
All other personal data we hold for your account
What may be retained (and why)
Tax and financial records (e.g. GST invoices) may be retained for the period
required by Indian law (income-tax / GST record-keeping rules), after which they are permanently
deleted. This retention is a legal obligation and applies even after account deletion.
Encrypted backups are purged within 90 days of deletion.
We may retain minimal records required to comply with law, resolve disputes, or prevent fraud.
